The new year is a symbol of possibility. We wish to change and for our lives to go in a better direction but for that to happen we need to connect with the potential that exists within our minds. Buddhist meditation gives us the ability to become the person we wish to be: more dynamic, confident, kinder, more loving, peaceful, and happier.

To help you start off 2020 in a positive, meaningful, and personally transformative way, we invite you to take The 10-Day Meditation Challenge.

What is the challenge?  Attend ten meditation classes at KMC Hollywood between January 1 and January 14, 2020. Engaging in guided meditation in the encouraging, supportive environment of KMC Hollywood is the perfect way to kick start your meditation practice (and your daily happiness!) in the new year.

How does it work?  As a participant, you’ll receive a card to bring to each class. You will have access to all classes, chanted prayers and retreat sessions between Jan 1 and 14. See schedule below. Each day you attend any class or session, your card is stamped. If you attend ten classes (one stamp per day) sometime between January 1 and 14, you’ll successfully complete the Meditation Challenge, and your 2019 will be off to a meaningful start!

Prize for Supporting Members: $25 credit towards membership
