Starting February 21: Letting Go of Anxiety 

Many people suffer from fear and anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by the stress and unpredictability of everyday life. In this course, we’ll explore mindfulness methods and meditations from Buddha’s teachings that help us deal with fear and tension more effectively and eventually become peaceful, fearless and confident.

March 6:    Confidence & the Power of Imagination
March 13:  Thinking Big: Changing Our Perspective
March 20:  Enlightened Fearlessness

About the Class
Each class begins with a guided meditation, followed by a talk (topic listed above), and ends with another guided meditation. Everyone is welcome. No previous meditation experience is necessary. Free for YMCA members; $5 for non-members.

Susan has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 2011 and began teaching in 2014. Susan is appreciated for her stories, humor, and practical advice, helping her students put Dharma teachings into practice in their daily lives.
