REPLAY OF A PREVIOUSLY OFFERED SATURDAY MORNING COURSE
Many people feel they have no control over their mind, that it’s wild, in constant motion. Some feel that controlling their mind isn’t even possible. It’s just busy, racing, agitated, always has been, always will be.
Is there anything we can do about it? The answer is unequivocally “Yes.”
Good concentration gives us control over the mind, like a well trained horse that obeys its rider, making it easier to cultivate the positive qualities of mind we need to become a happier person. Through advancing our practice of meditation, our distracting and unpeaceful thoughts subside, and our mind becomes calm and smooth. Meditative stillness helps to make our body and mind comfortable and flexible, which are essential if wish to remain at peace in daily life.
In this course, Gen Rigpa will explain how we can develop the peace of meditative stillness and concentration.
What to Expect: Two one-hour sessions with teaching and guided meditation (Replay for 72 Hours)
